It is the one item that one can use to protect themselves from the extremely dangerous bee stings. The beekeeping clothing usually protects the beekeeper from attacks by the bees which are very common because the bees are very protective of their habitat and will usually go to extreme lengths to protect them. The massive attacks by the bees are a common sight at the beehive and as long as someone is looking after bees with an intention of accessing their beehive, they should expect an attack from the bees. The importance of the beekeeping clothing is that it offers real protection from the otherwise dangerous bee stings that come as a result of a desire by the bees to protect what belongs to them. Usually, the beekeeping clothing is designed in such a way that it shields the entire body or at least the most vital parts from the bees and the beekeeper can get near the beehive and carry out their duties without having to worry about attacks by the bees.

 

2. As a rule, the beekeeping clothing should offer priority to the vital parts

The most ideal thing for any beekeeping clothing would be to protect the entire body. In cases where protection of the entire body is difficult, the most vital parts should be protected. The vital parts in this case are usually the facial areas because a bee sting in any of those areas is more impacting and more dangerous than one in other parts of the body. This is they the face has a veil that protects it from the attacking bees and offers the beekeeper some kind of see-through shield.

3. The Beekeeping Clothing has a 2-part design

 

Depending on the design that one would opt for, a basic beekeeping suit should have provision for the protection of the upper body parts and the lower body parts. In some designs, both the upper part and lower parts are put together and one complete suit is made while in other designs, the two are made independently. In such cases, the part that protects the upper areas has a hood and veil to protect the head and face while the lower part protects the rest of the body.

I was recently on the fence about eating honey as a vegan, but I ultimately decided not to consume honey anymore after I heard the horrors of the commercial beekeeping industry- which, I’m not quite sure if the rumnors are true. So those of you who are vegan or near vegan, why do you eat honey?
I’m only trying to figure out if there are any reasons I should be okay with eating honey.

I’m a non honey vegan and my boyfriend is a honey eating vegan. He eats honey for the convenience (honey roasted nuts, some breads, bottled tea, etc) I understand being on the fence about honey. In my opinion you can be vegan either way.

The fact that he went from meat eating to “pescoterian” to honey eating vegan is an admirable jump.

It sounds as though you really don’t want to eat honey. I would suggest not eating it. It has so much sugar you’re better off with agave nectar. It tastes just like honey, no bees were involved, and it is delicious!

I am considering to start beekeeping and I read that you need a honey extractor to separate the honey from the wax, the problem is that the hone extractors are very expensive.

you can pull out the frames, and scrape off the wax and turn it over, which will drizzle out the honey, but its not as efficient.

well .. considering the fact that although bees are extremely important to our agriculture needs; the values they bring to health care, etc. .. i imagine that funding for such a grant won’t come .. but if it were to become funded .. the place u would learn is grants.gov good luck. : )

i currently operate 5 beehives and am looking to sell to a business or someone who would buy large quantity’s. i am always experiencing heaps of leftovers, even after selling to my neighbours.

does anyone know what to i can do to market my honey or sell more of it or any idea’s all welcome.

also if anyones willing to buy a large quantity off me and sell it for them selves, i dont care cause i need to sell it or it goes to the garbage.

Beekeeping, what’s all the buzz? Beekeeping goes all the way back to the B.C. times. Cave Drawings dated 7000 B.C. were found in Velincia, Spain showng people reaching into hives for honey. Theory has it that beekeeping may have started when it was discovered that a swarm of bees could be caught and captivated in dark secure containers. There are many different hives all across the globe like in Europe, the Meditterannean, France, and Belgium. Hi! my name is ______ and I’m an __ grade _____ county ____ and I go to _________. Beekeeping is very important to our society. Honeybees are use to captivation; they need beekeepers to stay alive. There are benefits to you as well, if you decide to take up beekeeping. You can make a profit, and it’s just downright fun!
Beekeeping is very important to our economic society. Honeybees pollinate 95% of our crops. 4 out of every 5 bites you eat are contributed by the honeybee. They have adapted to our way, of their lifestyle. In otherwords, without beekeepers, they would die. Honeybees are currently going through an epidemic called Colony Collapse Disorder, or CCD. CCD is when the honeybees just, dissappear. If there are no beekeepers to maintain them, they may die off completely. Einstien quoted, “If the honeybee dissappears, then man will dissapear with in the next 4 years.” We need beekeepers for the life of honeybees, and intenr, the life of man.
Not only does beekeeping effect our economy AND humanity, but it also puts, a little extra cash in your pocket. Beekeeping can make a profit for ANYONE! Yes, beekeeping does take patience, and yes, you will have to make time for your bees, but it does just give you that extra buck, and who doesn’t want that? Making a profit is fairly simple (in most ways that is) when beekeeping. The way i will make mine is, selling honey! Mmmm…. that sweet sticky substance that almost everybody loves! 1st, you must give the bees enough to time to make honey for THEMSELVES. Then, the rest is yours! Next you must go through the process of extracting the honey. This will take a while, no matter how skilled you are. Finally, you can the honey, and your customers will pour in! Either don’t let that money burn a hole in your pocket, or save it up for later! Other ways beekeepers make their profit are: Commercial beekeeping (traveling with their hives and charging farmers for the bees to pollinate the crops,) or having a Bee Emporium! This is where you have all things beekeeping, and sell it! You see? Beekeeping CAN make you a profit!
You may not care about our economy, or making money, but everyone needs a little fun in their life! That’s just what beekeeping is! Fun! Good Ol’ fashion fun! None of that old elctronic stuff that kills your brain, no way! I truly believe that beekeeping makes you more knoweledgble You become more in touch with nature. Watching all of those six legged, fuzzy, truly magical creatures, will be the highlite of your day! Send those bees love, and believe me, they’ll send you some love right back! And that aroma they make (I’ll inhale) mmmm will tingle your insides!
I encourage evryone here today to become a beekeeper. Especially the youth becuase we need a new generation of beekeepers. So become one! Whether it be for our economy, the honeybees, your extra cash, or just for they fun. Or you know, maybe even all of ‘em! If you decide to become a beekeeper, there are a few things you should do. Get with a bee buddy (a local beekeeper that can show ya he ropes,) make sure you have permission from your family, and study up on bees and beekeeping! That’s just how I started and beekeeping has gone great since! Beekeeping, what’s all the buzz? That’s all the buzz!

Great speech! A couple of small points: insects pollinate 80% of our crops, and about 90% of this pollination is by honey bees; and it is about 1/3 of the food we eat that depends on bees for pollination, not 4/5.

Apart from that, it sounds good to me!
