The threat to beekeeping from the varroa mite and colony collapse disorder.Dorset Bokashi is the inventor of ‘Woodland Flora in a Bag’ – a mixture of bokashi and native wild flower seeds once common to Dorset and southern England. Our aim is to conserve the honey bee and declining butterfly species.

Beekeeper on Honeybee Insurance in Stimulus Bill

Neil Cavuto interviews a beekeeper about the $150 for honeybee insurance Democrats originally included in their nearly $1 trillion economic stimulus bill. Cavuto wonders how this is supposed to create job. The beekeeper says he really needs to make his beekeeping farm work on his own “without government handouts.” He says he agrees that this provision probably shouldn’t be in a stimulus bill. Asked about the stimulus package, the beekeeper says he’s not sure if he supports it.
