Baraka College Student Plots and Beekeeping Programme
During his recent visit to Baraka Agricultural College in western Kenya, Gortas Country Representative for Kenya, William Keyah, had the opportunity to view the demonstration plots maintained by each student enrolled on an agricultural programme at the College. William also reviewed the innovative Beekeeping Development Programme aimed at empowering rural communities to engage in beekeeping as an alternative, environmentally friendly enterprise for improved and secure livelihoods.
